Our son has recently moved into a new house on the Abbotswood development in Romsey where last year both BT and Hampshire Council celebrated the arrival of fibre broadband. Orders for fibre are currently suspended and there are suggestions that Cabinet 20 has already reached it's maximum capacity, which with a third of the development still under construction implies that someone within BT got their calculations wrong. The frustration is that no one in BT Openreach or Talktalk are able or willing to share what's happening. Does anyone know when this stituation is going to be resolved given that download speeds are currently1.5mb and quite intermittent which is quite worrying when this is just over a mile from the local exchange?
