Sudden Speed Drop on Fibre!

Yesterday my Fibre Broadband speed dropped from ~34Mbps download and 12Mps upload. These were mid range with regard the estimates provided upon which I based my descision to upgrade to fibre.

My previous ADSL speeds (with TalkTalk) were ~14Mps Download and ~2Mps Upload.

As of yesterday my Fibre speed is ~11Mps Download and ~2.5Mps Upload. This is way below the estimates and simliar or lower than when I was on plain ADSL!!!! (and yes I rebooted the router about twelve hours ago and also a few minutes ago and the stats are the same).

These are my router stats from when the fibre was first installed and in the settling phase (Jan), when it had stabilised (Feb) and yesterday (which is same as today):-

Now I know the Interleave Depths were high before and now they are much lower but the depths did not give me a problem.

Also the Line Attentuations have both jumped up a little. Is this likely to be the cause and is this something OpenReach need to repair. Obviously something has changed and at the moment I am getting ADSL speeds for the price of Fibre!

Cheers

Dave
