I am hoping that one of the OCE's can help escalate this and help me get this sorted.
After over 2 years of an excellent connection with great speeds, my fibre large stopped working 3 weeks ago with an authentication error and therefore no IP address assigned to my router. I replaced all cables and tried different routers to no avail. After several line tests and no error found, I agreed to have a BT Openreach come out and check the cabinet and internally in my house. He could also find no error but also could not get any connection to the internet.
This has been escalated to the network team who suggested all the usual fixes that have been discussed in these community forums - switching everything of for 30 minutes, try another router - but I still have no working connection. As a network engineer that often has to work from home, this is causing me a lot of inconvenience and I am despairing that I will ever get my connection working again. I am seriously considering cancelling and going to another provider.
Any help appreciated.
