Hi OCE and community,
I recently upgraded to Fibre broadband (up to 38 Meg) and have been extremely disappointed with the broadband speeds we have been getting.
Speeds have ranged from an initial 10-15 meg to a top and fairly consistent speed of about 24 meg (with all values in between).
Considering we were getting 12 meg on standard broadband and live only 0.5 miles from the exchange I think my dissatisfaction with fibre is understandable.
I believe that when we had standard broadband we were put on the most stable setting due to constant disconnections.( No faults were ever found with our line).
Have these settings/limitations been passed onto our fibre settings?
Is Fibre as unstable as standard BB? Do we need to be on most stable settings with fibre?
Would appreciate it if you could investigate for us and hopefully increase our speeds nearer to those I was told were possible when I accepted a new contract with TT.
Regards,
