Dropping Internet connection

Hi.

 

I signed up for Sky Sports package recently but have been plagued by constantly losing Internet to the Youview box.

 

I have 40 Mb fibre broadband. When it was installed the engineer informed me that the master socket had been wired up incorrectly and to rectify the matter I would have to run new wires from the loft with all the taking up of carpet and floorboards that would entail. I opted to leave the router in the loft and run everything wirelessly.

 

No problems with any other Internet enabled device but the Youview box has to have wired Internet connection so I fitted a TP Link WR710N mini router set to client mode. I have recently upgraded to HG633 router.

 

The problem is between 3 and 30 minutes of watching Sky the signal is lost. I get IPC6023 error, sometimes YMV105 and then YMV102. Usually about 10 minutes later it comes back of its own accord, however at the moment the box has frozen and won't respond which has happened before.

 

All other wireless devices work flawlessly and I get a wireless speed between 20 and 25Mb/s

 

I have switched everything on and off a billion times, reset the mini router, maintenance reset the Youview box, checked for latest software update but still have the problem. Can anyone help?
