I have been experiencing very slow fibre broadband over the last few months but figured it would resolve itself eventually... Seems not to be the case though.
Currently getting the below speeds on my LARGE FIBRE Package by TalkTalk (37Mbps down / 14Mbps up). Used to get close to 60Mbps down but it has slowly been getting worse. I called TalkTalk a month ago or so but no one took ownership of this problem and I was continually passed around to various people who seemed very uninterested.
Following the above I called to cancel my contract with TalkTalk (I'm out of contract period) and fortunately for TalkTalk I got "cut off" and didn't have time to call back...
Anyone got any idea as to how these speeds can be improved? If they can't I'll leave TalkTalk for sure.
Please note:
I do use a cable when testing the speeds
I test regularly and the speeds are mostly around the 36Mbps down although in the evenings it can drop to 15-25Mbps.
I have tried all the recommendations as in restart the router, turn of the broadband completely for 1 hours etc etc
