Hi guys,
Over the past week I've been having major issues while streaming to Twitch.tv. Usually, I'm able to stream at 1600kbps video and 160kbps audio with no issue at all (with my Fibre Medium package), but recently I will have occasional frame drops where the quality will dip down to about 500kbps for extended periods of time. This has never happened until recently, and now won't stop.
I have tried EVERY solution in this link here: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/dropped-frames-disconnecting-lag-read-this-first.8870/
Changing servers, lowering bitrate (unless if it's less than the aforementioned 500kbps, in which case there's no point in me having a fibreoptic connection at all), streaming wirelessly or via LAN cable, changing streaming software from OBS to XSplit and back, power cycling my router and restoring it to factory settings... none of these have made any difference.
The ONLY solution that has worked is streaming to a different website; when I try streaming to YouTube, I have no issues at all. This is why I think that the issue has something to do with the connection between my ISP and Twitch. I don't have any issues with my upload speed in any way other than when I'm streaming to Twitch, and nothing I've tried has made any difference.
So, if this could be looked into, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
