I have been having problems for sometime with our Fibre broadband service. Nothing has changed at our end on the router, PCs, wireless devices or phone system. We are using the TT HG635 Super Router. When we first went over to fibre from standard broadband our download speed was about 14Mb as measured with the usual online speed checkers. We experienced intermittent service interruptions for months but at a frequency that was insufficient to cause us to do anything about it. Our neighbour is also with TalkTalk and has identical problems.
Last few weeks the service has deteriorated significantly. Today we are at 3.3Mb download speed - slower than standard broadband, and upload speed is 0.6Mb. Dropouts coming several times an hour, and also issues with router showing internet availability but nothing can be accessed. Doesn't matter whether it is PC, mobile or talktalk TV box, all see the same problem.
Could an OCE please take a look into this and check the service on the line, the frequency or drop outs and raise a service problem issue.
Thanks
