Hi, I have been having real line & connection quality issues over the last few months, and have had two new routers sent - I have ben using the D Link DSL 3780, which has been fine, after the original Huawei was diagnosed to be faulty, and to be honest, I wasn't impressed with it's wifi range.
We are now about to get fibre...at long last...rural, see...and have been sent the Huawei HG633 - which is the one that I had before...
I am aware that the DLink only has 2.4 wifi, and the Huawei is dual channel, but which should I be using for overall quality? Do I need to swap them for the fibre service? Or am I best to buy my own?
The DLiink has a separate 'fibre' socket, different size from the normal phone cable socket, and is red, but I assumed this to connect to a separate fibre modem.
Any advice?
The sticker on the new box says dont connect until 27th - the scheduled fibre connection date - but if I still use the DLink router, will this matter?
