Hi
I have converted to fibre and told it has been activated but I see no improvement.
When I look at setting up fibre some tutorials show an openreach box and others don't.
I thought a chain was as weak as its weakest link so how can you have fibre to the cabinet at the end of the street and copper to your house???
Fibre was laid in my street (not to the house) by NTL. Those who have Virgin TV had the fibre cable brought into their house. I do not.
Question Should I expect and engineer to bring the fibre into my house and install and openreach box into which I plug my router or not. Should copper from the end of street cabinet work.
If the later is true I must of had really good broadband with Simply broadband as I see no improvement and suspect nothing has changed.
Many Thanks
