Hi,
So my Fibre connection has been below 2Mbps yet again, for at least the last few weeks with no improvement. While the main talktalk site is down I cannot perform a registered speed test but my own wired tests using speedtest.net at various times of day are coming out at an avergae of 1.86Mbps / 0.66Mbps.
I have reported this exact same issue twice in the past - see below threads...
In both previous cases my speed dropped to just below 2Mbps, an engineer came out, "reset" something and my connection went sraight back to just below 38Mbps.
Each time the speed drops like this I put up with it for a few weeks before reporting it but as I am paying for a Fibre connection I don't think it is unreasonable to expect Fibre speeds to be sustained without having to spend a fair bit of time reporting it and waiting in for an engineer to come out to rectify.
The engineers that have come out before have suggested that whatever they reset can in fact be done remotely, without a visit to my house. Could that be done this time as taking even more time away from the office for repetitions of the same issue is becoming irksome.
Fingers crossed you can do something to permanently fix this problem.
Thanks,
Graham.
