I received my new HG633 router today (firmware 1.15t) to replace my HG635 one. I have instantly noticed a decrease in speed by about 10mbps wired. Also, the wireless doesn't seem to be as reliable or as fast as the previous router. I suspect this is a common problem.
I have attached a screenshot of my broadband info. As you can see, Max downstream rate approx 68mbps ... about the speed I am used to getting. However, the downsteam line rate is approx 51mbps. Think there must be something wrong here?
Is it as simple as plugging old router back in and splashing out on a decent router by another make?
