I have had this same problem having just got fibre from Talk Talk, and foolishly decided to call them rather than looking here first.
My VPN is also not working via the wireless connection but works fine with LAN/ethernet.
My IT department said this is a longstanding Talk Talk problem and that I should call them to resolve the issue with theISP or the router/modem
Afte two hours on the phone to Talk Talk being passed round goodness knows how many people and deparments, I am eventually told that VPN isn't supported by Talk Talk at all, and that I have to upgrade to a business account if I want to be able to use VPN.
How is this justifiable?? How has this issue still not been looked into?
