We've recently upgraded to Fibre Large to try and get the upload rate increased. We're approximately 1200m from the roadside cab, so typically expect nothing more than 23/24Mbps maximum download rate, however we were expecting the upload rate to increase from current 1Mbps max to 6-8 Mbps after the upgrade.
I've logged this with TT and they are sending an engineer out in a week or so, but wondered if there is anything more we can try at our end before then? I've read on this forum that switching off the router for an hour might reset the connection profile - as the DSLAM assumes the connection has been terminated rather than temporarily dropped as a result of something like a power cut. Unfortunately this didn't work.
We are using the Huawei HG633 Super Router.
