My migration went through this morning (should have been yesterday) and I find my speeds are slower on fibre than I was getting on ADSL. Looking at the router it seems to report that I'm still on adsl2 not VDSL as I expected it to be. Worse still, the speeds are roughly 2/3rds what i was on before.
My old provider hasn't turned my access off yet so my old credentials still work. Through them I get about 10mb. Switching to the talktalk router and the new credentials I get about 7.
An engineer visit has been booked to my house (why? This is surely a provisioning problem and one remote login to the router would tell you that) but that's not until next week.
Is there any way to get someone to check that it's been provisioned to fibre properly?
