very poor fibre

We have upgraded to Fibre as our previous Broadband was very poor, during this process we had a BT Engineer visit our property twice, he upgraded/checked all the sockets, no problems there.  Checked the phones etc.  No hardware issues at all. No issues with the phone line.  We've had Fibre for some months now and disappointingly it is still intermittent with very slow speeds.  My older teenagers are constantly moaning that it is so much slower than everywhere else. I'm really disappointed as I thought have Fibre would have resolved the issue.  I have obviously called TalkTalk customer service, and the same drill each time, plug into master socket, check hardware, reset the rooter etc, monitor for 48 hours, they will do checks their side etc.  Then no improvement.  I actually feel physically sick at the thought of listening to the TalkTalk music on hold each time now :-(  I feel I should have swapped providers rather than upgrade to Fibre with TalkTalk as my neighbours are not getting this poor quality with other providers.

 

I have read through the documents on improving Broadband and can confirm that none apply.

 

I'm sorry I cannot provide speed checks at this time as the service is unavailable through TalkTalk currently!!  Although during my last conversation with TalkTalk customer service they confirmed that they could see "that the line was intermittent and slow" and would reset it and I could monitor for the usual 48 hours.  In which is didn't not improve.
