changedmy package a couple of weeks ago to fibre large and wish I had not !
Nothing but trouble since.
Telephone line was dead and speed was abysmal.
Logged a call and on this weekend and on Monday BT Open Reach fixed the problem so I now have a working phone line. As to the fibre broadband, this was still slow but was told by the engineer to call and ask for the cap to be lifted. Which I did and was told it would take upto 24 hours.
With me so far?
Ok, so yesterday I called again as there was no improvement in my speed. Was told, after a test, that I needed an engineer visit. After telling the agent by availability would be limited, they said they would try and get an engineer to my home today (Thursday) between 5 and 6 but no promises.
So, I get home around 4.30 today and have a sneaky check of my speed - a healthy 58.5 mbps. So looks like someone has done something.
Then I check my system logs - constant disconnects and reconnects every 15 minutes - log attached.
Had this problem previously when I was on firmware version 1.8 but an OCE rolled me back to 1.6 and the problem went away. I am still on 1.6 but have the reconnection problem.
Can an OCE look into this please?
