MY FIBRE BROADBAND KEEPS GOING DOWN

I have had my TalkTalk fibre broadband for a few years now with no problems whatsoever so have been very pleased with the speed and reliability until yesterday.

 

I can connect for 10 to 20 minutes and then it will cut off.  I click on the icon and click connect and sometimes it will connect again and sometimes it won't.  I run the Windows troubleshooter and it tells me to turn off my router.  I do this at the mains for 10 minutes.  I have checked the cables.  When I switch the router back on it will work for 10 to 20 minutes and then go off.

 

The lights on the router remain green for all of the time even when I can't connect to the internet.  I have two laptops (not often used at the same time) and a smartphone which is not on wifi all the time either, and I get the same result on all three items, so I am sure it's not any of my gadgets that has a problem.

 

Can anyone assist?
