I upgrade to the new Fibre broadband offered for existing customers, with my go live date being 21-10-2016.
When I arrived home just before 7pm, there was no internet. When I checked my emails using my mobile, I had a comfirmation email saying the service was live at 4:53.
Over night I've had the router powered off, which I've turned back on this morning, still with no service, just it incase it made some difference.
I've read other people complaining about similar situtations who have a talktalk router hg635, I have a hg533. So unless the hg533 is actually capable of dealing with this fibre package, can you send a talktalk super router out asap to see if that helps in any way.
Let me know if you need me to test anything, but I dont see how anything inside the house is causing this, considering it started since the fibre supposedly went live. The router setup hasnt changed, I think, in over a year, at least since the last time I had to contact support.
