High Ping throughout the day

hi, my ping has been really high (200+) during gaming (pc and console) for the past 2 months or so. i contacted talktalk and they replaced my router but that didnt fix the issue. So i done some research and found out that people who had the same issue as me requested for something like 9db fastpath so i was wondering if i could get something like that which would fix my issue.
