Having been a TT customer for more that 9 years now, I am ever more confused by the renewals process.
Once upon a time it was possible, with a certain amount of persistance to eventually speak with a native English speaker.
On that happy occasion, it would be relatively clear just what was being discussed and in conclusion, one would leave with a clear and fairly detailed idea of what one had just committed to!
...No more!
I have just signed up to a further 18 months with TT, however, I am really unsure of the exact details due to the difficulty in understanding the English of the operator.
- I am not sure if the BB speed that I will get is that which I am expecting (around 40mbps).
- I also understood that the unlimited "Anytime UK calls" boost was to include unlimited calls to mobiles, ...I have so far no evidence that this is the case.My email advising this boost makes no mention of calls to mobiles. it does however say:-Your Changes
The following features have been removed from your package:
Unlimited Mobile Minutes Boost
10% Saving Value Line Rental for 12 Months - Discount
12 Months Free Unlimited Mobile Minutes Boost
If that is to be believed, then the contract will be repudiated before it begins!
Is the complimentary basic SIM card also to continue, as that is also not mentioned in despatches!
Moving on:
Value line rental: Mine does not end until 24th November and since TT packages no longer make an additional LR charge, will I be credited for the unused/overlapping month?
I have received an email advising that the charges for my current package for the month of October will be taken on the 3rd of November, and another bill as yet incomplete that will be taken on November 25th, ...will that become my new Direct Debit date?
Can someone please confirm to me just what the perceived agreement is ??
