Recently upgraded to fibre after 12 months on the essentials package, which was to slow (download speeds average 1.6mb)
The fibre is due to go live in a few days time. I was disappointed to discover yesterday that I will not be receiving a new super router through the post despite being charged the £25 activation fee which states on the website includes delivery of a new router.
I currently have the HG633 and thought there would be a faster router for fibre customers. According to the person I spoke to on live chat I don’t get a new router as I already have one.
Is the info I have been given correct or are talktalk just penny pinching despite both the website and an email I received both stating I would be receiving my new router through the post.
