I've been with TalkTalk for over a year now and the ADSL broadband has been rock steady - sometimes I've stayed connected for as long as 3 weeks without any kind of disconnections
However about 2 days ago I asked to be upgraded from ADSL to the Fastest Fibre Package and don't get activated for another week to fibre but ever since I applied to upgrade to Fibre the router has been restarting itself - last night perhaps 3 to 5 times during the night.
I've looked through the logs and see the words "DSL connection is inactive." listed 17 times.
I'm not sure if some kind of new firmware has been applied remotely to my box in order to get it ready to work with Fibre? But now my normally reliable router is no longer reliable and restarted itself during some important times online.
Any idea why my normally realiable TalkTalk Internet and Router is now playing up only since the day I asked to be upgraded to Fibre?
