Port 1024 OPEN and firmware v1.21t

Hi all,
Recently my router updated from v1.15 to 1.21 ever since then I have noticed that my router is being hammered by intrusions filling the log.
Before this I may have had the occasional intrusion detected. I went onto GRC shieldsup to check the firewall and it reports that port 1025 is now completely OPEN to attack, and that port 1024 responds to probe but is closed.
From my recollection this wasn't the case with the previous firmware. Can an OCE please check to confirm why this port is wide open? If it's not being used how can we close it?
