For the last couple of weeks as soon as we out any decent amount of traffic through our router it drops completely and broadband, Internet, Ethernet wifi the lot is lost. This will repeat anywhere between 5 and 20min intervals depending on time of day etc. This makes it impossible to stream TV or similar - the main reason we upgraded to fibre! Phoned talk talk's 'technical help line' numerous times and after being hung up at least twice by some very rude operatives finally had some one conduct some inconclusive line tests. As advised we reset router to allow firmware update and still no improvement. Then advised we needed open reach to come run tests which happened today - prior to this I requested a new router - which was denied. Open reach engineer found no line faults as expected. Suspects router issue! Looking at the router log there is also numerous security issues recorded. I'm getting beyond annoyed with the current level of service - just want the Internet to work as intended. Any advice or help out there?!
