Typical Talk Talk double talk.

Hi I have been with TT for many years and the only reason I am still with them is the price.

Phone and broadband have worked well but prices continue to climb.

So I had a look around but nothing available to suit.

Picked up a new computer and thought to upgrade speed from my 38mbs.

TT.s new Max Fibre looked great.Up to 78mbs.Checked to see if available in my area and yes it was.So signed up to a new package(dont like the18mnths too long] and then found out that contary to the misleading wording I couldn't transfer my Phone's International plan I was on but had to take a limited one hmm.Not a good start.Then it starts to get worse.

Signed up and waited for upgrade to speed.Quick and easy,yes.

Only problem was that speed increased by a max of 2mbs.

Contacted TT yet again and asked what the story was.

Oh sorry but your cabinet in street only supports up to 40-42ishmbs.

Question...Why is the cabinet max speed not given when planning to upgrade.

I spent possibly 3hrs with TT and have reverted back to my 38mbs as before.What a con and a waste of time.If only there was another provider with the same package as I require!!
