Hi there, I have a bit of an odd question.
I committed to buying a flat a few weeks back, and before I did so I checked that fibre was available at it (it was). I'm just about to move house and so rang up to move my fibre broadband to the new place, however talktalk now say they can't provide fibre to my new flat.
The weird thing is, it's the same exchange as I'm on at the moment (so definitely talktalk enabled exchange for fibre), every other flat in the building can get fibre broadband (so nothing to do with the cabinet), and BT, Sky and Plusnet are all able to supply fibre broadband to my new flat. Why can't TalkTalk ?
All I can think of is that the current owners may have Sky for phone and this is somehow messing up Talktalk's checker, but I'm unwilling to commit to an 18 month contract with TalkTalk on the off-chance that they'll decide I can upgrade to fibre once I've moved and activated the line with them.
Any advice ?
