Slow broadband speed

Hi, my speeds have dropped from 36mbs to under 10mbs and i am experiencing wifi problem's, low speed wifi and intermittent disconnections even when sat in the same room as the router on all devices connected, it seems to have started since i took the offer to lower my monthly bill but keep the same deal as i already have? It should be up to 38mbs i believe and it has been that or near that up until now.
