I usually get a stable 18 Mbps on FTTC with the HG633 router.
Over the last couple of weeks, the speed keeps dropping to unusable. Only rebooting the router provides a temporary fix. I am having to reboot several times a day.

3a. Do you have an NTE5 master socket? Yes
3b. If yes to question 3a, have you tried the test socket?
Yes
3c. If yes to question 3b, how long for and did you notice an improvement in your connection?
Several days - no improvement.
3d. Do you have an iPlate or ADSL faceplate?
ADSL adaptor FACEPLATE - it was fitted last year. Text on the front panel says: “OpenReach BT” and somewhere it says NTE5.

Yes
5. Are you experiencing any problems with your phone service?
No

7. Have you tested with an alternative modem? (Make & Model)
No
8. Have you tested with a different microfilter?
Yes.
9. Are you using a telephone extension lead?
No.
10. What is your modem SNR Margin down and up?
SN margin (dB): up 6.0 down 6.0
11. What is your bandwidth (Connection or sync speed) down and up?
ADSL line speed (kbps): up 1161 down 20349
12. What is your attenuation down and up?

13. Are you experiencing the disconnections at any specific time?
No
14. Are you currently using Wireless?
Yes, for one of my PCs and a smartphone, but other PC is on an ethernet cable, straight into the router.
15. Do you have an Alarms and/or Sky boxes connected to the telephone line?
Sky+ box connected to router via an ethernet cable, but box is not connected to the phone line.
