Poor fiber medium speeds recently

Hi,

We have been on Fiber Medium for a long while, and used to get speeds appropriate for the package.

Recently we had problems with our connection wherby it disconnected constantly and was unusable, which was resolved by an OpenReach engineer.

Since our connection has been working again, we are no longer getting speeds appropriate for the package - in fact it is always showing:

Upstream line rate (kbit/s):
1999
Downstream line rate (kbit/s):
8799

Is there anything I can do to get our original speeds back?

Nothing other than the repair has changed - i.e. we are using the same socket, router etc. I have tried turning off the router and leaving for 30 minutes as I saw suggested on this forum but got the same speed again.

The broadband information tab on my router ( HG635) shows the following; I believe I should be getting somewhat closer to the "maximum" speeds than I am now.

Upstream line rate (kbit/s):
1999
Downstream line rate (kbit/s):
8799
Maximum upstream rate (kbit/s):
34114
Maximum downstream rate (kbit/s):
60596

Is there anything I can try please? Frustrating that these issues are ongoing since November...

(Apologies, I posted this multiple times before realising that I hadn't activated my account, so the post wasn't showing - once activated, where were multiple copied, which I have deleted.)
