Its looking very likely that I will be moving in the new year. I decided to run a check of the address to see what speeds are available for me. While ADSL is predicting a pretty good speed, fibre is not currently available there.
I am new to my 18 month fibre contract, having only just got my third bill a few days ago. So I just want to know where I stand if the move does go ahead. Will my contract just carry on at the new address but fibre gets dropped from my plan? Do I have to pay an early termination fee for fibre? Will I have to pay a setup fee at the new home? (There is already a BT Line at my potential new home, but it has been inactive for years as the current resident has been using Virgin Media, given the fact that they are the only fibre provider there)
I was just wondering if anyone has experience of this or knows the policy. I don't want to call up just yet as its purely speculative at the moment.
Thanks!
