Fibre Large Broadband - Keeps disconnecting and speed has dropped

Hi,

 

Not sure exactly what info you require to look into this, but I'll put down the symptoms. Every now and then I've been getting messages on our devices saying internet connection not available, which I thought was the wifi doing weird things at first, however I had a look on the router at the time of the issue, and A) was able to connect, so wasn't the wifi, and B) the time connected to internet was showing as a few seconds.

 

Upon looking in the router logs, I can see the internet is going down and back up again multiple times a day. The connection speed used to be a solid 79999 and 19999, but now it seems to have dropped to 76001 and 17000 which is a little odd, as its been the higher for a long time.

 

Also to add, not sure if this is related, phone calls often produce odd results, some times the person on the other end hears us as chipmonks or the line is crackly, to us we can't tell, they sound as normal, we have to hang up, dial again and then its OK.

 

Our street has a very bad rep for poor lines, as they were just thrown in the ground and buried, with no pipe, the next door neighbour has had BT out 10 times in the last year, they recently replaced a section of cable.
