So, I loved house and had an activation date of 9th November 2015. This did not happen. An engineer fitted fibre connection and said talktalk haven't ported our number over and it happens with them all the time. Least we had broadband but fibre not yet connected. A further engineer visit arranged then cancelled then rearranged then cancelled again! A few calls from talktalk which are I'm afraid barely intelligible due to being inIi presume India. Try to tell them what the engineer said but that does not match what it says in their computer screen as they follow what the computer tells them to ask and input. Absolutely no lateral thought process. Then, the broadband stops. More calls then no calls at all when they said. No landline, Internet or TV services for over a month now. Cannot talk to anyone who can understand fully the predicament or solve anything outwith what the computer says to them.
Totally and completely at a loss as to what to do. Any UK based service numbers or direct complaints numbers? Next step is to contact the ombudsman as looks like I will be cancelling my service and I just know they will try and charge me for the rest of the contract!
