HG633 Router

Hi,

I have been using the HG635 router connected to the BTOR Modem with speeds of 37/1.8 from when I got fibre installed.I recently aquired the HG633 and connected that straight to the master socket. The speed checker is telling me the speeds are near enough the same but the wireless signal isn,t as good as the HG635.

I take it the Modem isn,t used anymore cause the engineer connected all up when I had the Fibre installed.

I wish now that I had left well alone.....

I have read posts on here that there are problems with the HG633 Signal.

I haver reverted back to the 635 but the Wireless signal isn,t as great as before..which leads me to ask..Does the Modem need to connected as well?
