I have just moved from another provider, to Talktalk my go live date was Friday 18th December, this never happened I rang on the Morning of the 19th to ask why I wasn't connected, i was reassured I would be connect that day and that there was a delay in swopping services. Surly enough i was informed via email that my services were now live looking foward to this I got home and to my suprise I still had no service. I could ring my landline and it would ring but It wasn't ringing my end and I had no broadband , so I rang to report this after being on the phone for an hour and a half still getting no further I got put through to a Manager he got me to do some checks on my line internally and come to the conclusion that I had a fault on the line externally in they would have to get an engineer out and reassured me I would not have to be on the premises as it was a fault on the external line. So since apparently going live on Friday it is now Monday late evening and still have no service I have jut rang and all I get us that I will updated on this in the next 72 hours that's another 2 days, the last thing I want is having no service over the festive season, I would love some more communication as to what is happening or not happening whether an engineer is acually going to go and fix the problem or not I'm beginning to wonder why I even changed suppliers it's funny I have no fault on my line for the past 4 year and all of a sudden when I change services and change to fibre I now have a fault on the external line my patients is wearing a little thin now just want to be up and running.
