Fibre Broadband Super Router

I currently have the HG633 Super Router, I decided to upgrade to fibre and asked TT if I would need a new router, the answer YES, so they sent me a DSL-3780 for which I am getting charged delivery, so hears the issue.

1) The HG633 is dual band WiFi 2.4GHz and 5GHz, and has 3 aerials, ok it only got 100MB LAN ports

2) The DSL-3780 is single band WIFi 2.4GHz and only 2 aerials and 100MB LAN ports, it does have a RED Fibre port but you only need that if you have a BT Modem.

The broadband line from the BT socket still plugs into the ADSL RJ11 socket on both routers same as standard broadband, Fibre is still delivered to the house via copper wire.

Both routers support VDSL(Very High Bit Rate ADSL, Fibre)

So why send out an new modem and charge delivery on it when my existing HG633 will work fine.

Does TT really know what its doing?
