Hi,
I'm new on the forum but will start with description of my issue straight away. I'll do it in points as I think it will be easier to list issues as well as the steps I have already taken.
1. I am unable to access website mariodnb.dyndns.org when using my broadband connection.
2. I am one of 3 people I know that have same issue with this host name only (friends I have asked for help) and they all are with Talk Talk.
3. Access to this host works fine from my mobile, tablet or either of the computers (if using hotspot), it also works fine from my friend's house and my office. It works fine from my laptop at work but not when same laptop is at home.
4. I am on VDSL and using HG635 Super Router and neither ping or trceroute works when I try to run it from rouer's maintenance menu (Maintain > Diagnosis Tools > )
5. When I do ping or traceroute from my mobile, from my office, using my tablet or from few of my friends houses it works fine. Two of my other friends have same issue as I do. From our broadband connections host mariodnb.dyndns.org just doesn't exist.
6. I use service at ping.eu which allows me to confirm that host is up and running while still unaccesible from my broadband connection.
7. I have renewed IP address of my connection and did the same at the location of other computer. It changed nothing.
8. I have spoken with TalkTalk twice but no one is able to help me as I believe people I've spoken with do not understand the issue. I have reference numbers of :
INC000012908110 and INC000012971060
9. I have restored default settings to routers at both ends and restarted both couple of times, no difference.
10. I have tried Google and Open DNS settings in router - no change. Couple of others as well.
11. The host name points to IP adddress which I can't ping either.
12. Host mariodnb.dyndns.org is also connected to a TalkTalk VDSL broadband, uses same DNS servers ( 62.24.243.4 , 62.24.139.9 and same IPv4 default getaway 79.68.96.1. It is located couple of miles away and connected to the same exchange.
13. I have tried Wndows computers, laptops and desktops with Windows XP, 7 Pro and 10. Android mobile and tablet, Ip hone and Ipad outcome is always same Destination Host Unreachable or ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE or ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT.
14. If I use any Proxy server I can access the host or the IP without issue ( screen of index page attached).
I have attached few screen shots as well. It shows ping, traceroute and DNS lookup done from ping.eu. You can also try yourself and if it works fine for you, you should see front page of DD-WRT router.
I'm sure I have done all I can think off and it makes no difference what so ever so it must be ISP related issue. If anyone can think off anything I can try to do I would be really grateful.
