I'm considering the TT Fibre upgrade but I'm concerned the position of my master socket downstairs isn't where I'd like to place my router.
I run a business from my home, and have an office on the third storey. I actually have two lines, a tech installing the lines found it actually splits at the master and found he could wire it so one half of the house's sockets are one line and the other half are the other!
Does the fibre router have to go right at the first master socket of the house, or any socket elsewhere in the house that happens to have a master faceplate installed? The first master socket is actually nowhere near a power socket, but the bigger issue is getting reliable broadband to my office
I guess at a push powerlines could do the job, but ideally having the router upstairs would be most reliable
Thanks
