We have had faults on my phone and broadband since the 27/9/2015 and you can see this in my other posts!
on the 27/01/2015 we had our fibre go live to try and cure our appalling broadband speed ( it was about 7.5mbs before 27/09/2015) well the phone worked but no broadband !!!
We contacted talktalk and went through the usual checks etc etc and an engineer was booked he arrived on Friday the 29th, He checked all the internal connections installed a new master socket and tested our line etc. He could not get our router to connect but as we were sent 2 we could try another but no joy. His test showed that the broadband was working correctly and was showing 11mps not great but that would be fantastic for us. He said to leave it for an hour then contact talktalk high I did and after the usual test and questions guess what another engineer visit!!!!
later that day it started working all by its self and stayed on for about a day but with around about 4.5 MPs and then cut out again, I it started again in the evening but went off the following morning and has done this since! On Monday I contacted talktalk and was told( after the usual checks and the operative contacting a network manager) that an engineer was working on this and I would get updates. Well today has come still no updates and no broadband, I have seem online that the HG 633 router has very poor rating and numerous problems and apparently there is a firmware update but at the moment you can't do this yourself. Some people have had to buy there selves a different router to solve their problems so why are talktalk still sending these routers out if they are faulty!,,,
so so as I have said its Groudhog day as we just go round and round in circles can a CEO manger contact me and sort out this mess !!!
