I have recently moved from Sky to a Talk Talk super fast fibre connection and I have found that connection speeds are to put it politely extremely inconsistent and many times are significantly slower than my previous standard broadband connection. While atempting to download an update for a piece of software last night it was down to all but zero.
This is the same wether using a wired or wireless connection.
A reset of the router generally clears the problem but it doesnt take very long for the issue to return.
I quick read through of these forums seems to suggest that I am not alone in experiencing this andalso that there doesnt seem to be a solution found as yet, apart from shelling out for a decent router with your own money which doesnt seem acceptable to me really? has anybody managed to get this problem sorted by Talk Talk, or have any suggestions?
