I recently joined TalkTalk and got a letter saying that my broadband start date was due to be 01/04/2016. This has not happened. The only indication I've had is a pretty useless banner on the homepage saying "There's a bit of a delay. We're working hard" etc, but this isn't exactly helpful.
I called customer services and all they could tell me was that it's a problem with the line and BT Openreach need to sort it out. Someone is going to call me on Tuesday, but I don't really see why this is necessary to be honest if it's an issue between TalkTalk and BT.
Is there anyone from TalkTalk who's more clear on what's going on and on what kind of timescale it can be fixed?
