I supposedly have a "super router" and talk talk fibre optic broadband. However I cannot port forward, no matter how I use their very simple pre installed settings. So I called technical who informed me that port forwarding is not supported on this router and I need to call their business department to activate it. The business department told me that I was being "fobbed off" and the residential technical support could do this. After another lengthy phone call I was repeatedly told it was out of their training to do this and also they could not pass through the "super router" so I could port forward from my own router.
I actually came across a post where someone had a similar problem and they were told that there was a bad batch of these routers.
Can anyone tell me if port forwarding is supported and how to activate it or how to simply pass through this "super router" ?
