After updating the firmware on my router i can no longer connect to the internet. The issue is im not being assigned a new DHCP lease from the talktalk side, it says its expired but wont renew. DSL connects fine, but the WAN fails saying DHCP connection error, DHCP lease has expired. is there any way I can resolve this? I know its not an issue with my router as ive tried with my spare which has the old firmware and its still the same. connectiong directly into the BT box also doesnt give me access, but the DSL connection is up, 41mb down 6 up, all the lights are as they should be apart from internet which is red. I tried the helpline and explained my issue but they insist theres an issue at my end and an engineer is required, I know this isnt the case as everything was fine before the firmware update!
Is anyone able to help?
