Go Live Date Passed...Still no internet

I upgraded to large fibre. 28th April was the selected date to Go Live by Talk Talk. Called helpine, they said there is a problem between router and cabinet so engineer visit is required. The earliest date engineer is available is 3rd April. Again Talk Talk letting customer down and leaving without internet. Keep in mind i was using my intenet service on the same line without any problem before my fibre package was activated. Why cant these things be checked before making any promises to customer. Really bad customer service.
