Possible line error (may be intermittant)

Since yesterday around 12:30 my line has been going berserk with DLM intervening on several occasions and my connection speed all over the place.. Prior to this my line has been stable and prior to G.INP being removed had been up 40+ days with no problems at all. Yesterday the problems started just after we went out for the afternoon but we left nothing on in the house which is not normally on and I'm not aware of any thunderstorms in the vicinity at the time. This is very unusual for my line although for a while now the SNRM did drop when the landline was in use however I dont believe the phone itself is an issue as I disconnected everything at the master socket leaving only the router connected and when I called the landline number from my mobile the SNRM still dropped, this indicating there has been a low level fault for a while but at that stage did not cuase my connection to drop.

Can an OCE please run a line test to see if it shows anything? You should be able to see from your stats how it has been behaving over the previous 22 hours.

Edit: Further investigation tends to indicate this is NOT DLM but a loss of framing between DSLAM and router as I am styaing at INP=3 delay=8 so far all the time.

2nd edit: Further discssions elsewhere suggests this is highly likely to be a degraded contact or bad joint somewhere between the cabinet and my master socket. Still getting re-syncs but no DLM changes though. Still INP 3 and Delay 8.

3rd edit: Finally DLM intervened this morning and upped INP to 3.5 which I guess is a result of all the trouble in the past 2 days.
