No broadband or phone line since go live date of 10/8/16

i changed from Sky broadband to talk talk fibre as sky were getting expensive, and since the sky broadband went off on our talk talk go live date of 10/8/16 we have had no broadband or phone line I'm totally fed up with all the excuses I get if I'm Luky enough to actually be able to get through and talk to someone From talk talk, I'm just within my 20 days cut off from cancelling, and I feel that this might be my best option as from looking at other reviews of talk talk online I may well be dodging a bullet by leaving while I can.
if someone on here could advise I would be grateful as I have really had enough now with all of this it was working fine with sky right up until talk talk took over this Wednesday and since then nothing, all they keep saying every day I call is that there's a fault on the line and they will send out an engineer today, so what does that mean they have sent an engineer or they haven't ??? I can never get a straight answer.
