Would you mind taking a look at our Fibre Broadband. Its slowing again. we have lost about 10% down and up.
Our figures at the Modem were:-
24/08/2016 Down 7.896mbs Up 1.173mbs Down db 9.0 Up db 1.9
Now after a storm and power cuts :-
27/08/2016 Down 7.096mbs Up 0.930mbs Down db 10.5 Up db 6.5
01/09/2016 Down 7.096mbs Up 0.926mbs Down db 9.9 Up db 6.7
I have completed two 30min resets on our HG635 which is plugged directly into our OpenReach prefiltered Master socket. I have made no changes. we did have a powercut and an electrical storm. but this slowing was later. Openreach have been working in our cabinet and on the overhead cable.
Would a Draytek modem help us make better use of our fibre?
