A couple of weeks ago my Fibre Broadband speed more than halved from a real download speed of 3.2Mb/s to 1.5 Mb/s. (Line speed currently showing 12Mb on the Speed Test, when it used to be 28Mb, I think)
The line itself is fine. Good latency, no packet loss, no drops, but for some reason my speed has just tanked with no changes being made inside the house here.
The Technical Support line has asked me to plug the router in to the master socket and leave it there for 24-72 hours, but I'm not going to be without internet for 3 days to check for a fault that doesn't exist. This isn't a fault, something has just changed, most likely my speed profile on Talktalk's end. Could anyone check this for me?
