Recently upgraded account via staff deal from medioum to large. previously my download speeds where around 23meg and about 3/4 meg upload. I have just upgraded to fibre large through staff offer and took tv also account idicates fibre large and speed capable of 35/37 meg on my line from my account page info on TT website.
so prior to upgrade i was testing speed on router that was supplied recently and i was getting fluctuation between 15 and 23 meg via ethernet direct to router with new filters, no other devices online and 2/3 meg upload. i am just over 5km from exchange so the top 23 wqas acceptable for this distance i guess. if i went direct to test socket behind faceplate it was achieving 30.2meg granted it was late at night with minimum traffic.
so recieved new tv box through the post so prior to setup as i am waiting for ethernet power adaptors, I thought i would check sppeds again as account now shows fibre large.
same conditions ethernet direct to router, no other devices online and now im only registerring at 9.44 meg download, but upload increased to 9.2. speead test done through TT website.
whats going on guys, no outages or maintenance in my area that i can see. at 10meg its still usabel for the kids streaming netflix and my firestick etc, browsing and you tube... but 10meg aint goingt o be any good for TT TV box is it.
any advice and help appreciated.
