What are the fibre upload speeds?

Hi,

I've looked at the Talk Talk Fibre Broadband sales page and on the Forum's initial information page but it is hard to find the information I am looking for.  Can you confirm the corresponding upload speeds for the 38Mb and 76Mb download speeds offered by Talk:Talk?

On this article from late last year it says 2Mb and 10Mb.  Does that remain the case with the new style packages?

On visiting Sky's site, they are much more forthcoming with their upload speeds:

  • With Sky Fibre, you get a 25GB usage allowance, with download speeds of up to 38Mbps and upload speeds of up to 9.5Mbps.
  • With Sky Fibre Unlimited, you  get the same download and upload speeds as Sky Fibre, but there's no usage cap so you can upload, download and view as much as you want.
  • Sky Fibre Max and Sky Fibre Pro also gives you unlimited usage, with download speeds of up to 76Mbps and upload speeds of up to 19Mbps.  With Sky Fibre Pro you also get support from a dedicated call centre, a static IP address and the ability to customise your connection.

Cable.co.uk says that BT offer 52Mb / 9Mb or 76Mb / 19Mb, and on the same page it says that Origin offer 38Mb / 10Mb or 76Mb / 19Mb.

Upload speed counts for uploading data to cloud services, playing online games, having high quality streaming VOIP calls, operating a home NAS system and more.

Please will you confirm.

Thanks.
